Instructions on handling mixed municipal waste, biodegradable municipal waste and recyclable municipal waste waste

Mixed municipal waste
Users are obliged to remove the containers according to the collection schedule of the public service provider. Each user is obliged to place the container with mixed municipal waste in a visible place next to the residential building by 06:00 at the latest in order to enable unhindered emptying of the container. If the container is not left in a visible place, it will be emptied at the next scheduled collection time.

It is prohibited to dispose of recyclable waste, biodegradable waste, liquid waste, embers, animal carcasses, batteries, accumulators, car tires, waste from slaughterhouses, butcher shops, fish markets, hazardous waste, and construction waste in the container for mixed municipal waste.

Biodegradable municipal waste
Users are required to compost themselves or to deposit biodegradable municipal waste in separate containers, depending on the contracted method of providing the public service. It is recommended that those who have a garden compost themselves. For classic garden aerobic composting (outdoor composting), the following are used: partially kitchen waste (fruit and vegetable scraps, eggshells, coffee grounds, tea bags, bread scraps, etc.) and garden waste (flower scraps, branches, fallen leaves, grass and hedge clippings, sawdust).
The following MUST NOT be used for garden composting: leftovers from meat, fish, bones, milk and dairy products.
